Launching your own leather goods brand doesn't require owning a factory. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) partnerships with Indonesian manufacturers allow brands of all sizes to develop custom products at competitive prices, with professional quality and reliable lead times.

OEM manufacturing means you provide the design, specifications, and branding — and the manufacturer produces the product to your exact requirements. You own the design; we provide the production capability.

This is different from:

• ODM (Original Design Manufacturing): You select from our existing designs and add your branding
• Private Label: You add your logo to our standard catalog products
• Wholesale: You buy our existing products as-is

OEM is the right choice when you have a specific product vision that doesn't exist in any manufacturer's catalog.

A good design brief saves time and reduces sampling costs. Include:

Product specifications:

• Product type (laptop bag, tote, backpack, wallet, etc.)
• Dimensions (length × width × height in cm or inches)
• Compartment layout and pocket configuration
• Closure type (zipper, magnetic snap, buckle, drawstring)
• Handle/strap configuration

Material specifications:

• Leather grade (full-grain, top-grain, vegetable-tanned)
• Leather color (Pantone reference or physical swatch)
• Hardware finish (gold, silver, antique brass, gunmetal)
• Lining material and color

Branding requirements:

• Logo placement and method (embossing, debossing, metal plate, printed label)
• Packaging requirements (dust bag, box, tissue paper)
• Hang tag and care label specifications

Reference images:

• Photos of similar products you like
• Sketches or technical drawings if available
• Competitor products for reference

The more detail you provide, the more accurate your first sample will be.

Submit your design brief to our export team via the quote request form. We'll review your specifications and provide:

• Unit price estimate (based on materials, complexity, and quantity)
• Tooling cost (pattern development, if required)
• Sample cost (typically USD 50–150 per sample, refunded on bulk orders)
• Lead time estimate

Once you approve the quote, we'll produce a pre-production sample (also called a "proto sample") for your review.

The sample review process typically involves 1–3 rounds of revisions. Common adjustments include:

• Strap length or width
• Zipper placement
• Hardware color or size
• Leather color matching
• Stitching style or thread color

We send high-resolution photos of each sample via WhatsApp before shipping. Physical samples are shipped via DHL express (typically 3–5 days to most destinations).

Pro tip: Request a "golden sample" — a final approved sample that becomes the production standard. This sample is kept at our facility and used as the reference for all quality control checks during production.

Once you approve the sample, you'll confirm your production order with:

• Final quantity (minimum 200 pcs for full OEM)
• Delivery date requirement
• Shipping terms (EXW, FOB, CIF, or DDP)
• Payment terms (50% deposit, 50% before shipment)

We'll provide a formal production order confirmation with all specifications, pricing, and timeline.

Production typically takes 25–40 days depending on order size and complexity. During production, you'll receive:

• Day 1–3: Material cutting photos
• Day 7–10: In-process assembly photos
• Day 20–25: Pre-shipment inspection photos
• Final: Packed and ready-to-ship photos

You can request a third-party inspection at any stage. We work with SGS, Bureau Veritas, and QIMA.

Once you approve the final inspection photos and pay the balance, we arrange shipment according to your agreed terms. We provide:

• Commercial invoice and packing list
• Certificate of Origin (on request)
• Airway bill or Bill of Lading
• Production photos for your records

Total from brief to delivery: approximately 10–12 weeks for a new OEM product.
